WeatherReady QLD (ABN 18 669 405 549) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you choose to give us:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your suburb or postcode
• the service you're interested in, and anything you tell us about your property or concerns

If we visit your property, we may also take dated photos and notes as part of your written plan. We'll always do this with you, and only for your plan.

How we use it

We use your information only to:

• reply to your request and prepare a quote
• arrange and carry out a walkthrough, and prepare your written plan
• keep appropriate business and insurance records

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists. We won't contact you about anything unrelated to your request unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Quote requests sent through this website are delivered to us by Formspree, a form-processing service based in the United States. Your details are stored on their servers so they can be emailed to us. Apart from service providers like this that help us run the business, we only share your information if you agree to it or the law requires it.

Website visits

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our web host (Cloudflare) and font provider (Google Fonts) may briefly process technical information such as your IP address and browser type so pages load securely and quickly.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Just email us — we'll respond within 30 days.
